Setup Dynamic Issues

Dynamic issues are rules designed to stop the usage of work codes based on certain parameters (business rules). Dynamic Issues are rules that define when a work code is either denied at the point of entry or converted to a request.

Dynamic issue severity levels show when using the following functions:

For organizations who utilize Institution Focus, Dynamic Issues are hard limited to the focused institution. For example, a Count Occurrences type issue would only count work codes occurring in the currently focused institution. A Dynamic Issue checking and returning the number of people taking leave is only returning results for the current institution.

Note:

*Select authority permission setting, Calendar: Add/Edit Code to enable applicable dynamic issues in the work code Edit screen. Select Roster: Edit Basic or Roster: Edit Advance to disable dynamic issues in the work code Edit screen.
