Field Name Rules ‘List Plan’ Field Description
Name List Plan name.
Execution Context This section indicates where the selected List Plan is used. Choices are:
  • Roster - select to use this List for filling vacancies
  • Work Codes - select to use this List for Dynamic Issue Type Rules
  • Auction - select to use this List in Auctions
Note:

To disable the List Plan clear all of the check boxes.

Work Code The selected work code is assigned to a person working their Position Assignment. For example, Regular Duty, Straight Pay, On Duty, and so on.
Detail Optional ten character field. Appends to the selected work code. Used for reporting and exporting data from this application to a payroll system.
Mask Day Mask days are Shift Masks defined for an extra working or extra day-off, such as a Kelly Day, a Special Day, a Cycle Day, and so on. The selected work code is assigned to a person when the Shift Mask day is active (ON).
Detail Optional ten character field. Appends to the selected work code. Used for reporting and exporting data from this application to a payroll system.
Default List Chain Contains the default List Chain to fill a vacancy. A List Plan contains one default List Chain but can hold alternate list chains evaluated sequentially from top to bottom.
  List Chain order example:
  1. Default: Greater than 4 Days List Chain
  2. Within 24Hours List Chain
  3. 24Hours - 48Hours List Chain
  4. 48Hours - 72Hours List Chain
Condition The List Plan panel utilizes Dynamic Conditions that specify when a List Chain is evaluated. Each List Chain contains a Dynamic Condition that turns the corresponding List Chain ON if True or OFF if False.
  List Chains in the previous example have the following conditions in sequential order:
  1. Default: ON. Turns OFF when another List Chain is ON.
  2. WITHIN(24HOURS)
  3. WITHIN(48HOURS)
  4. WITHIN(72HOURS)
