About List Target

List Targets define unordered sets of qualified candidates.

Although the ability to qualify, disqualify, and sort candidates is available in the List Target; the List Target is mainly used to qualify and create sets of candidates because the final filtering of those candidates takes place in the next tier, the List.

List Targets do the following:

1. Evaluate every person in the database to produce a set of qualified candidates.
2. Identifies the payroll code associated with working that position.

Rule of Thumb:

For optimal database performance, use a List Target to create a pool of candidates and use Lists to disqualify and then sort from that pool of candidates.
