Person Penalty Tab

The Penalty tab captures the outcome of a work opportunity that is extended to a person or any one else that received the same opportunity; how penalties or whether penalties are tracked vary by customer. This area also holds probationary periods.

Note:

Sometimes the Penalty tab is renamed to Probation when refusals are not tracked or probation makes better sense.

Common examples include, applying penalties to personnel who sign up for work and then refusing a work opportunity for that same day, or simply refusing overtime, or not responding to an overtime opportunity.

The system may be configured to assess the refusal before applying a charge. A charge can also be manually applied by an authorized user. The charge is captured in the Penalty tab and a penalty work code displays on the person’s calendar.

Probationary periods inserted in this area are used to prevent the usage of work codes or to exclude or sort personnel using rules.

Security permission settings in Authority control the ability to edit refusals.
