Person General Tab

The General tab contains basic user data information that identifies who the person is, such as Name, Payroll ID, Phone, Address, Login, and Password.

The information contained in the General tab is typically visible to all user levels. Security Permission settings in Setup control the ability to view or edit areas in the General tab.

Best Practice: Most organizations grant users the ability to manage their contact information to prevent missed job opportunities, and potential grievances due to invalid contact information.

Customers using Dimensions must manage certain fields in Dimensions which is the system of record for those fields. Review People topic for additional information and Person General Field Descriptions to review Dimension fields.
