Assignment rotations are used to automatically rotate multiple shift assignments.
This application alternates the person’s shift assignment based on the start date of the rotation, the number of days within a rotation, and the order of the assignments in the rotation.
An assignment rotation as implied by the name simply orders and starts assignments. The shift definition within the assignment indicates the scheduled and nonscheduled days to apply.
Important: Before creating an assignment rotation, see whether a shift can fit the rotation pattern. This configuration may eliminate or reduce the number of assignments contained in the person’s Assignment tab which facilitates managing assignments and assignment transfers.
