Publish Extra-Duty Event

Publishing an event will post the event on the Roster, Dashboard, and Calendar. Only published events can be staffed with personnel on the Roster.

Important
  • Once Extra Duty Events are published, changes are only synchronized in one direction from the Extra Duty Events page to the Roster.
  • Once the event is published, it purposely cannot be unpublished. However, you can clone the published event to create a new unpublished copy, and then delete the old event. Cloning an event will not clone scheduled personnel.
  • Published Events have limited editing attributes for instance you can Add another Unit, or Remove a Position (Job) from an event.

To publish an event on the Extra Duty Events screen:

  1. Locate the desired event.
  2. Click Event Name.
  3. Select Published.
  4. Click OK to confirm message, or click Cancel to undo. Most Unit and Position (Job) properties are restricted from editing for Published events. This action cannot be undone. Are you sure you want to Publish this event?
  5. Click Save.
