Clone Extra Duty Events

Cloned events display the plus sign next to the event name on the Extra Duty Event List view. When cloning a published event, the state of the cloned event is unpublished. Clone does not copy personnel working on an event to the cloned event. The maximum number of events that can be cloned is ten.1 Clone options are:

Clone a Single Event

To clone a single event:

  1. Select the check box next to the event.
  2. Click Clone.
  3. Enter the number of events to clone in Quantity. Max: 10
  4. Click Save.
  5. Rename the cloned event, and provide a unique abbreviation for the cloned event.

Clone this Occurrence as Single Event

To clone a single occurrence of an event in a series as a new event outside the series:

  1. Select the check box next to the event.
  2. Click Clone.
  3. Enter the number of events to clone in Quantity. Max: 10
  4. Select Clone this occurrence as new event.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Rename the cloned event, provide a unique abbreviation for the cloned event, and edit the date and other values are as desired.

Clone Entire Series as New Event

To clone the entire block of events in a series as a new series:

  1. Select the check box next to the event.
  2. Click Clone.
  3. Enter the number of events to clone in Quantity. Max: 10
  4. Select Clone entire series as new event.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Rename the cloned event, provide a unique abbreviation for the cloned events, and edit the date and other values are as desired.
