Selecting Days on the Calendar

This topic covers how to select specific days on the calendar to request time-off, such as Sick, Vacation... or request additional working time, such as overtime, comp time earned or signup to volunteer for work.

Important
The Calendar menu option box contains functions available to you and based on whether you clicked a single day or multiple days, in addition to your user rights. This means if the feature is disabled then you either do not have rights to access that feature or that feature is limited to a single day.

Select Non-Working Days

Selecting a series of unscheduled work days is useful when signing up for extra work or requesting overtime or time earned or all

  1. Click on the desired non-working day.
  2. Hold down the mouse key and drag the pointer across the desired number of days.

Select Working Days

Selecting a series of scheduled work days is useful when entering time off or on; for example, entering sick leave during scheduled hours or signing up for overtime outside the regular scheduled hours.

  1. Click on the desired working day.
  2. Hold-down the mouse key and drag the pointer across the desired days.

Select Random Days

Selecting a set of random days is useful when entering random days of either time off or on

  1. Click on the desired day and hold the CTRL key
  2. Click on the desired days in any order.
