Auto-Fix Task Type Example

This task requires System Access to the Task Manager in Setup > System.

Use the Auto-Fix Task Type job to automatically ‘check’ and create Roster records in the past. This task turns projected records (not checked) into actual records (checked).

Note:
Only checked records display in reports.
  1. Go to: System > Task Manager
  2. Click Add
  3. In Name, label your job. Use the description area to enter additional information if needed.
  4. Leave remaining and default settings as is.
  5. Click the Task tab to create a task.
  6. In Name, label your task.
  7. In Task Type, select Auto-Fix to fix the Roster for the target period, the selected Shift(s), and Region(s).
  8. In From and Through use Dynamic Dates to target a date range in the past (case sensitive). Some examples below:
    • To target the 2nd day in the past, in From type: TODAY-2DAYS and in Through type: TODAY-2DAYS

    • To target the past two days, in From type: TODAY-2DAYSand in Through type: TODAY-1DAY

    • To target yesterday’s date, in From type: TODAY-1DAY and in Through type: TODAY-1DAY

    • To target the past 14 days, in From type: TODAY-14DAYS and in Through type: TODAY
  9. Leave the remaining and default settings as is.
  10. Click Save.
