Auto Finalize Task Type Example

This task requires System Access to the Task Manager in Setup > System.

Use the Auto-Finalize Task Type job to automatically ‘check’ and create Roster records in the past. This task turns projected records (not checked) into actual records (checked). Finalize locks Roster records in place and can only be modified by authorized personnel. Important: Never Finalize a future date, doing so will lock the Roster and may interfere with general staffing processes and scheduled automation.

Only checked records display in reports.
