Shift Times are used to define different start times for nonessential personnel. Shift times are commonly used to group personnel with various nonessential shifts into the same assigned unit.
Do not use shift times on resources that impact manpower. Doing so may result in shift reconfiguration.
Shift Times are used along with shifts and sometimes shift masks to define a different start and end time without creating a new shift. Shift Times override the start time and duration of the base shift.
Shift Times attach to positions only and automatically populate in the person’s Assignment tab when the corresponding shift and position are selected.
