Drag-and-Drop Blueprints on the Staffing Board

Blueprints display in chronological order by shift and unit. To change the location of a blueprint for side-by-side analysis use the drag-and-drop function. Drag-and-drop may be performed in either a fully expanded view or a collapsed view, the latter makes it easier to drag blueprints when many blueprints are in view.

  1. From the Staffing board where blueprints are currently set in view locate the blueprints you want to move. Use the Collapse All function to simplify the view, if needed.
  2. Click on a blueprint and hold your press to activate the drag function, then drag the blueprint to the desired location. The blueprint pane turns light gray when the drag function activates. Black broken lines appear around the target pane.


    The ability to drag-and-drop does not require a special permission. However, certain touch screen laptops and certain browsers may prevent drag-and-drop functionality, adjusting some settings may be required to use drag-and-drop. Moved blueprints hold their place on the Staffing board for the logged in user’s view, and persist upon logout.
