Deploy a Blueprint for Multiple Days

To deploy a blueprint across multiple days:
  1. Select the desired days. Click the plus sign to apply a blueprint.
  2. Type the name of the blueprint in Name, or click Show All to display all of the blueprints.
  3. Select the desired blueprint, click Next. Multiple blueprints can be selected and deployed to the same line when applying the same shift pattern. The ability to select multiple blueprints is available as of application version 6.6.

The Add: Blueprint page opens and shows the selected blueprint’s data inputs as configured in Setup > Blueprints. At this level the application allows authorized users to change data inputs as needed for this instance.

  4. The screen redraws, note that the pagination at the top and center of the screen denotes the initial number of blueprints based on the selected days. On the top right corner of the panel, note Multi-Edit and Edit functionality.
    • Multi-Edit is used to apply changes across all of the blueprints in view. To deploy a blueprint on multiple days using the same shift or a shift split group at one time use Multi-Edit.
    • Edit is used to apply changes to a single blueprint instance within view. It is possible to use Multi-Edit first, then Edit in one transaction.
  5. Click Multi-Edit, shift choices are:
    • Single Shift: To apply a single a shift, select the desired shift pattern in Shift.
    • Multiple Predefined Shifts: To apply a shift split group, select the desired shift pattern to start followed by the split shift pattern and click Apply. Doing so will update the number of blueprints in the pagination bar.
  6. Click Save to apply the changes. Upon save the application will validate the fields and shift patterns.
  7. If the blueprint you selected contains jobs, the jobs will show in the Edit Jobs area on the same screen for that blueprint instance. Use the Multi-Edit view to edit all of the blueprints. Use Edit to edit a single blueprint.
  8. Changes made to any data on the blueprint template will apply to this instance of the blueprint only. If the change applies to future templates then apply the changes on the actual blueprint template in Setup.
  9. Click Save.
