The People Filter is available throughout the application. By default the People Filter displays people with active profiles for the target date. When used on the Staffing board, the People Filter function enables the job allocation filter which is exclusive to Blueprints and not available elsewhere in the application.
The job allocation filter displays available jobs that match the person’s job qualifications. This feature facilitates manual scheduling of unallocated resources on the Staffing board. To enable the job allocation feature on the Staffing board via the People Filter blueprints must exist on the staffing board. The People Filter on the Staffing board automatically refreshes with qualified candidates each time a blueprint position is selected, or select a person to highlight available jobs for the selected person.
When selecting candidate’s on the People Filter list, or jobs on the pin boards the application checks job requirements of type Job Title, Specialty, and Group. The job requirement must be met using Same As, Can Act As, or Equivalent logic. If the person fails the job requirement, the application will alert you and show the attribute or attributes that failed in addition to the option to override the alert, or cancel the transaction.
