Modify People Table Columns...

The table below shows whether column or panel resize, reorder, move, hide... functionality is available for the corresponding area of the application (first column). An X in the table cell denotes the feature is available in the corresponding area.

Enable Resize Features...

To enable the ability to resize, reorder, hide, and move the columns in applicable areas of the application such as the People Filter, Locate People...

  1. Go to System > System Information.
  2. Select Enable resize features.
  3. Click Save.

Move People Panel Position

To move the People Filter and Locate People Panel on the Roster:

  1. Go to the Roster, click the person icon to display the People Filter panel, or click the person with the question mark icon to display the Locate People panel. Default panel position is Left bound.
  2. Click the gear icon to display your menu options.
    • Left: Displays the panel to the left side of the Roster. Default.
    • Top: Displays the panel above the Roster and shows the entire width of the Roster with no scroll bar.
    • Bottom: Displays the panel below the Roster and shows the entire width of the Roster with no scroll bar.
    • Restore Panel Defaults: Returns the People Panel to the default setting of Left bound.
  3. Select the desired location for your People panel. Your selection will automatically save to your user preference profile.

Resize People Panel

To resize the People panel:

  1. Locate the resize handle. The resize handle looks like three blue bars located on the right and center side of the People panel.
  2. Hover over the resize handle to activate the double-arrow. Click the resize handle and drag in or out to the desired width. The resize indicator looks like a gray frame with broken lines when activated.
  3. The application will automatically save the desired size for this specific area of the application.
  4. To restore the column settings click the Gear icon, select Restore Panel Defaults.

Reorder, Show, Hide Columns

To reorder, hide, or show column headings on the People, or Locate People panel:

  1. Click the icon that looks like a gear to display your menu options, select Table Column Settings.
  2. In Table Column Settings, choices are:
    • Show | Hide (All): Located at the top-right to quickly click and show or hide all columns. Default is show all columns,
    • Show | Hide (Each): Displays or hides each column.
    • Up Down Arrow: Moves the location of a column header within the People panel.
  3. Click Save, or click Reset to return to default column settings.

Resize Columns

The size of a column can be adjusted on the People, or Locate People panel:

  1. Hover over the right side of a column heading. When the cursor changes to a double-end arrow, click and drag in to shorten, or click and drag out to lengthen the column width.

    A resize focus frame displays while adjusting the column; note the modified column heading brightens in color.

  2. Optional Steps - to save the adjusted columns in this area of the application, click the gear icon and select Table Column Settings.
  3. Select Save column widths.
  4. Click Save.
