Delete | Deletes an assignment or rotation inside a template. |
More | Controls whether to show additional settings. To simplify the user interface hide infrequently used fields. |
*Name | The name of this Assignment Template. Names are best displayed when concise, and meaningful. |
*Shift | Displays all of the shifts configured. Select a shift for the assignment. |
*Organization | Displays the organizational structure as configured in Setup > Organization. Type the percent symbol % in the field to show all. The minimum organization level a person can be Unassigned at is the Region level. |
Only for Days | Enables this Assignment for the selected days of the week. |
Appears on Roster | Controls whether the assignment displays on the Roster. This check box is selected by default. For additional information see topic: Assignment Appears on the Roster Check Box |
Specialty Required | Applies specialty requirements to the assignment template. This application validates whether a person meets the specialty criteria before the assignment template can be applied. If the person meets the specialty criteria then the template can be assigned. |
Shift Mask | Displays all of the shift masks configured. Select a shift mask when applicable to the selected Assignment. Default is <none>. |
Special Time | Special Time allows an individual to have a shift definition different from the definition of the parent shift they are a part of when it is assigned to a Person or a Position. Used for personnel that is not backfilled when they are not working. For additional information see topic: Shift Time |
Override Assignment Work Code On Duty | Overrides the default work code from the List Plan for this assignment; otherwise, choose <none> to keep the default work code. |
Overriding Assignment Work Code On Duty Detail Code | Dsiplays a detail code next to the selected on-duty work code on the Roster when applied. |
Overriding Assignment Work Code Off Duty | Overrides the default work code from the List Plan for this assignment; otherwise, choose <none> to keep the default work code. |
Label(s) | Adds a label. Labels can be used for filtering purposes, and configured in the General area in Setup. |
From | If a date is entered in this field, then the Person’s Assignment record is active on this date. Format: mm/dd/yyyy |
Through | If a date is entered in this field, then the Person’s Assignment record is active through this date. Format: mm/dd/yyyy |
Conditions | Applies a Dynamic Condition (DyC) to determine when a Person's Assignment is active. This field is optional, but if there are multiple Assignments, utilization is recommended. Click on the Dynamic Argument button to optionally add a Condition. |
Suppressed | Suppresses the Assignment on the target date when a working or non-working code is applied to the person . The suppressing work code can be of any positive duration; however, it can not be Hidden, a Charge, or a Request. |
New Rotation: Creates an assignment rotation with assignments that automatically cycle through every X number of days. The Assignment field descriptions in the previous table are applicable to a Rotation.
