Configure a Job Title

Review Job Title concepts and reference topics.

To edit or create a new job title1 in the General section of the Setup area:

  1. Select a job title and click Edit; or click Add to create a new one.
  2. Name the Job Title. When possible, keep naming conventions short due to limited space on the Roster and drop-down menu boxes.
  3. Select the security access level pertaining to this rank in Authority.
  4. Select the security access level for this rank in Acting Authority. Enables when someone else is filling a vacancy for this job title.
  5. Select additional job titles that are equivalent to the selected job title when staffing a job.
  6. Configure the remaining settings as desired.
  7. Click Save.
