Configure a Static Attachment

Review About Attachments, Attachment Group Field Descriptions, and Configure an Attachment Group; in the latter topic, note the different outcomes when applying attachment groups, such as Person level vs. the Position level - which is very important information for static attachments.

To create static attachments such as inventory items, equipment, phones, radios and so on, go to Attachments in the General section of the Setup area:

  1. Click the desired category, followed by the applicable attachment group.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Name the attachment.
  4. Type an abbreviation for the attachment.

    Static attachments show the abbreviation.

  5. Click Save.
