Special Day Groups are used to create sets of Special Days to apply different staffing procedures. For example, Christmas and New Year’s Eve have different minimum staffing level requirements than Labor Day and Memorial Day.
Special Day Groups are used to do some or all of the following:
Displays an ‘S’ on the Calendar for special days.
Groups Special Days to apply the same rule to a group of days; for example, Mardis Gras, the Calgary Stampede, and so on.
