About Location

Locations are point values used for proximity staffing.

Location point values refer to anything that can be measured, such as zones, minutes, city, street corner x, regions, north, south, and so on.

Numerical values are used to set location points to determine the distance between the departure location and the next location. The higher the number, the greater the distance.

Proximity rules are used to target personnel from specific locations or from closest to farthest.

Locations are available in the People Filter to find personnel departing from x, or who is working in Departure x, and so on.

Locations are applied in the person’s profile and in organizational positions.
