Review Workforce Ready Person Import Columns. This task requires
both Workforce Ready (WFR) and the Ongoing Imports area in this
application to be configured before establishing the web service. Additionally,
matching job title abbreviations are required to import profiles
for new personnel.
To configure Workforce Ready Person Import settings
do the following:
Go to Setup > System > Import Manager > Ongoing
Imports.
Go to Ongoing Imports tab > Workforce Ready Person Import
Settings.
The Default Rank field integrates with the WFR Cost
Center Abbrev.column located on the WFR custom report. Options are:
Always Create a Profile- Map the job
title abbreviation in the WFR Cost Center Abbrev.report column,
and select a default rank from the menu box in the Integration settings
of this application. If a job title does not exist in the WFR Cost
Center Abbrev.column, the default rank in this application will
be applied.
Create Profiles from WFR- Map the job title abbreviation
in the WFR Cost Center Abbrev.report column, and select <none>
in the Default Rank menu box of this application. If a job title
does not exist in the WFR Cost Center Abbrev. column, no
default rank in this application will be applied; consequently -no
Profile will be created in this application.
Exclude Profiles from WFR- To exclude profiles
from WFR and manage profiles in this application omit the Cost
Center Abbrev.column in the WFR custom report, and select <none>
in the Default Rank menu box.
To quickly filter personnel records without job titles
in this application, create a job title and name it, “No WFR Rank”.
Use the “No WFR Rank” instead of <none>.
In Default Base Authority, select the lowest authority
level in the menu-box. This authority only enables when the person
does not have an active Profile.
Click Save to confirm your settings.
Go to the Task Manager and set the Workforce Ready Person
Import task to import new personnel.
